Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop solutions to provide customized financial reporting and analysis tools for traders and management.
Personal Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a formal development environment with 1-2 years developing or supporting financial data applications
Overall Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in financial market data with emphasis on equities, fixed income and quant is required
- SQL programming experience with emphasis on writing stored procedures is required (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle – no MS Access) is required.
- Experience with SQL Server 2000 is required - 2005 is a plus
- Experience developing solutions that utilize Reuters or Bloomberg API is required
- Good communication and presentation skills are required.
- Good analytical skills and design skills are required.
- Dedicated and conscientious
- Strong ADO experience is a plus
- B.S. degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline is a plus
